Smiling beneath the waves

The heart is in the water. What is water? Water is relationships. What are relationships? Relationships are the inseparable bonds between us and all things. They are like silk threads, winding and turning, surrounding us, nourishing us, sustenance, and propelling us. At the same time, they also constrain us, bind us, restrict us, and entangle us. Too little water, and the heart becomes like the Sahara under the scorching sun. Too much water, and the dam collapses.

All of life's problems are problems of relationships. Of all relationships, your relationship with yourself is the most important. It is the umbilical cord of all relationships. If you don't manage your relationship with yourself well, your life will be devoid of peace and happiness. You can be successful, but without joy. You can have a family, but lack warmth. You can have children, but they are difficult to communicate with. You can have a lavish party with many guests, but you will never have a true friend who understands you through thick and thin. You

will loudly complain about the world, unaware that the root of the problem lies within yourself.

Do you love yourself? If you don't love yourself, how can you be capable of loving others? Loving yourself is the simplest and most complex thing. It requires no cost, but it demands a fearless soul. We are all imperfect, and loving an imperfect self is an act of courage. Only

by managing your relationship with yourself can you have the energy and wisdom to study your interpersonal relationships and to live in harmony with nature. If you are overwhelmed by your own problems, like a patient with an empty stomach, where will you find the extra warmth to nourish others?

Swim freely in the water, break free from all constraints in your leisure time, enjoy the morning breeze on the shore, and then, with a magnificent dive, plunge back into the waters of relationships, becoming a fish smiling beneath the waves.
