Life is like a cup of fine tea. Bitter as tea, fragrant as tea.
In this vast and chaotic world, the allure and illusion of fame and fortune are full of temptations and desires. Often, we lose ourselves. To truly be free from desires, carefree and natural, maintaining tranquility and purity in this noisy and chaotic world is truly difficult. In my leisure time, I love to drink tea. Quietly savoring tea allows my soul to find a sense of peace.
A cup of clear tea, when first poured into the water, the tea leaves tumble and swirl, breaking apart. Just like when one first enters the world, there will be many setbacks and hardships. As time goes by, having experienced the warmth and coldness of human relationships, like the swirling tea leaves, one settles quietly at the bottom of the cup, gaining a sense of composure and open-mindedness. That clear tea water, so pure and transparent, can hold the entire world within one's heart.
Life is like tea; with a cup in hand, you can smell its fragrance and feel a sense of beauty. When you first taste it, you know it's bitter. But if you calm down, savor it slowly, carefully, and attentively, you'll taste the tea's fragrance—a fragrance that's actually sweet. The tea's rise and fall in the cup is like life's experiences, full of ups and downs. The tea in the cup, steeped in hot water, may initially taste bitter, but the aftertaste is pleasantly fragrant, leaving a lingering aroma that's unforgettable. Life is like tea; along the way, you'll always taste hardship and bitterness, but as long as you persevere, persist, and work hard, you'll taste happiness.
Drinking tea requires a certain state of mind; appreciating tea is a state of mind. In the hustle and bustle of life, being able to calmly appreciate tea and face life with equanimity is a beautiful thing. Life is like tea; a life of tranquility is a state of being. The strength or weakness of the tea, its bitterness or sweetness, its heat or coolness, held quietly in your hand and tasted in your mouth, allows you to cast aside worldly fame and fortune, gain and loss, sorrow and joy. Ordinary life requires our effort and struggle. Sometimes, like tea, it needs to be steeped in boiling water to release its subtle fragrance. The taste of tea is like the taste of life. Grasp it well, know when to advance and when to retreat, and experience it with your heart. You will then glean life's lessons and philosophies from tea.
Life is like a cup of tea; it cannot be bitter forever, but it must be bitter for a while. Only through trials can it finally bloom with fragrance. This bitterness is temporary, and this temporary bitterness is earned through countless failures, constant struggle, and relentless effort. The rising and falling of the tea leaves, quietly steeping in tranquility and transcendence, represents a simple yet elegant attitude towards life. Brew a cup of clear tea, let its fragrance wash away the dust of the world, settle your thoughts, and your heart will find peace and tranquility.
A cup of tea is a world; the taste of tea is like life—sometimes bitter, sometimes fragrant, boiling and then returning to calm. This is the nature of tea, and the nature of life.
