When the heart is at peace, even rain is sunshine.

Today was the sixth day of our rural service activity. Unfortunately, the weather turned bad; an 8-level typhoon struck Wuchuan City, forcing the cancellation of our planned fun sports meet, which was a bit disappointing. However, this typhoon also created some unique and joyful memories.

Because of the typhoon, the market was quiet, lacking the usual hawking of vendors. Consequently, we couldn't prepare a hearty lunch. Our team leader, Huang Jiaru, suggested we make pumpkin pancakes and steamed cakes together.

"I'll cook the pumpkin," "I'll knead the dough," "I'll prepare the utensils." The team members divided the tasks clearly and cooperated seamlessly. What touched us most was that some of the children volunteered to help us. Some children saw puddles on the floor and swept them away; some children helped us shape pumpkin pancakes into various shapes; and some even helped us wash the utensils. Finally, everyone shared the cakes and pumpkin pancakes. We suddenly realized the profound truth of the saying, "When the heart is sunny, even rain is sunny; when the heart is rainy

, even sunshine is rain." Yes, today's typhoon made us miss the long-awaited fun sports meet, but "every cloud has a silver lining." We gained wonderful time making pastries with our teammates and friends. Just like in life, there will inevitably be times of disappointment, but we must tell ourselves: even if we lose the sun, we must not be discouraged, otherwise we will lose the moon and stars. We look forward to a better tomorrow.
